Framed Pastel of a Spaniel Dog

Extremely well done pastel of a spaniel dog, signed and dated: Ulil '56. The artist is unknown to us.

Condition: The pastel itself is in excellent conditon. The matt should be changed as it has a stain on the lower section. the frame is made of plain pine and has separated at the bottom corners, which can probably be glued. There is also a split in the frame on the lower right. Please look at all the pictures.
