This papier mache sewing box, England, ca. 1880. is beautifully shaped, painted, and inlaid with mother of pearl, It is quite complete inside as well as outside. Very rarely do boxes of this quality and age appear on the market. We were lucky enough to find this at a local estate sale here in Newport. It is in very good condition and has a few minor restorations.
