Small but exquisite American parquetry (wood inlay in geometric shapes) jewelry box. These boxes are found in Massachusetts and surrounding states. Different woods such as maple and ebony are inlaid perfectly into a walnut body. The interior retains its original purple velvet lining, roping and mirror. This box is in pristine condition.
