Spectacularly grained rosewood veneer English Recency Sewing Stand ca. 1815 -1825. The stand has one drawer and a traditional pull out wooden sewing bag covered in black damask. The stand is fully finished on both sides with a faux drawer on the back side so that the table looks great from either side. The graceful lyre pedestal ends in a delicate curvilinear base on bun feet. The piece is in excellent condition except for some veneer repairs to the base only.
